The night between Thursday January 14 and Friday January 15 smoke was discovered in a communal kitchens at Emmylundsvägen 1 in SSSB’s area Pax. The fire brigade was sent for and they put out the fire before it spread.

The fire started in the cooker and the kitchen is partly destroyed and can’t be used due to the damages caused by the fire. The whole corridor smells of smoke. Luckily no one got hurt. The kitchen was recently completely renovated.

The fire also spread to the ventilation system which is now completely shut off at Emmylundsvägen 1 due to the fire.

This incident ended “happily” but it gives us all something to think about...
