Living with SSSB / Maintenance of your apartment / When do I report a fault?

Our aim at SSSB is to supply our tenants with accommodation that is as trouble-free as possible. Inevitably, however, things break, stop working or cause you trouble in some other way. In such cases, you should contact your house caretaker so that we can put the fault right or at least provide you with better information about how something is supposed to function. You can report faults online via the My pages function on our web site.

We are grateful if you also report faults that don’t necessarily affect you directly, so that we can prevent consequential damage and avoid similar faults occurring in the future.

On-call emergency service

We have an agreement with an on-call company that can deal with emergency problems outside office hours. Before calling them, consider whether the fault is actually an emergency or whether it can wait until the house caretaker is on duty. If you call, you must also be at home to let the on-call technician into the building/apartment as he has no keys.

PLEASE NOTE! If the situation is obviously not an emergency or if you are not at home when the technician arrives, you will be liable to pay compensation. You will be charged for the amount invoiced by the on-call company plus any administrative costs incurred by SSSB.
