Pax, located just north of Stockholm in Solna, consists of two buildings. The new building was constructed in 2004 and contains one-room apartments and some larger apartments, while the older building, built in 1970, houses student rooms in the style of traditional halls of residence.
Pax is situated in Huvudsta, a tranquil part of Solna that boasts lush green parks and outdoor swimming areas, but is still within easy reach of the city centre. Västra Skogen metro stop is right beside Pax, and from there you can reach Solna Centrum or Stockholm city centre in a matter of minutes. Pax is next door to a gym and just a stone’s throw from Ulvsundasjön, a part of Lake Mälaren, with its swimming pool, outdoor swimming area, canoe rental and small boat harbour. Near the waterside there is also a "4H farm" with small animals and a riding school, as well as Huvudsta Palace.
Strix – another housing complex situated a few hundred yards away – have a joint housing area association. The house caretakers' office is located at Strix.
N.B. 2010 the shower rooms and communal kitchens at Emmylundsvägen 3 are renovated
When carrying through the renovation all pipes in the building are replaced and at the same time we’re renovating all shower rooms and communal kitchens. This means that during a certain period you won’t be able to use your own shower room and kitchen and must share kitchen with other corridors. Some of you will also have to move into another apartment temporary so your shower room can be used by other tenants in the corridor. We hope you will overlook this and try to keep in mind that you will have a splendid new shower room and kitchen to look forward to!

Disturbances at Emmylundsvägen 1 during year 2010
The renovation at Emmylundsvägen 1 was completed 2009 but there will still be disturbances from the renovation work at Emmylundsvägen 3. The reason for this is that the corridors at Emmylundsvägen 1 and 3 are very close to each other as they are in the same property.
