SSSB rents the Vidar property, situated in the peaceful area of Näset on Lidingö island. The accommodation on offer here is bright, fresh and spacious, close to attractive green areas with an outdoor swimming spot just round the corner. The upper floors of the building offer a panoramic view of the surrounding water and forests.
The Ekholmsnäs Nature Reserve, also located on the island of Lidingö, is home to one of the best slalom ski slopes in Stockholm. In addition, it's not far from Vidar to the Bosön sport facility, which has several large sports halls, a gym, a swimming pool, martial arts classes, and much more. One of the island's cultural gems is Millesgården, with its art gallery, museum of Carl Milles’ life, and beautiful sculpture garden with stunning views of the water.
It’s easy to get into the city centre from Näset. Ropsten station is a short bus journey away, and you can take the metro into town from there. |

SSSB doesn't own but rent these apartments in order to sublet them to students. However, Vidar has its own SSSB house caretaker.
Vidar used to be an office building and was reconstructed to student apartments in 1999.
