We look for your union membership only after your current membership has expired. For example, your current union membership expires on 28 February, our system will search for your union membership on 29 February. Keep yourself updated on My pages!
If your union membership is not updated on My pages, please contact your union.
Check that you have given the same email address and personal ID number to the union as you have registered with us for My pages. They must be identical. Your union registers you on the SSCO membership register, which we check every night.
Your data at Stockholms studentbostäder is regularly automatically checked to the register of SSCO and the student unions. By our nightly checkups we receive information if you are a student union member or not.
This means that you currently cannot collect more credit days, but you still have the credit days you’ve collected so far. As soon as you become a student union member your place in the queue can be reactivated and you’ll continue to collect credit days.
Log on to My pages, where you can find information about the date by which you must suspend your place. A “suspend” button is created in the orange box. Click on it to suspend your waiting-list place. Once you have suspended your waiting-list place, it will not be reactivated until we find your registered union membership.
It can be on hold for a maximum of 36 months. After that time it will reset your credit days and you lose your place in the queue.
It is free to be on our waiting-list. But in order to collect credit days, you must gain at least 15 HECs or the equivalent per term at a university or university college whose student union is affiliated to the Federation of Student Unions in Stockholm (SSCO) and you must be a member of that student union.
If you are pursuing studies that do not award HECs, for example a research (third-cycle level) programme, or you receive Advanced Vocational Education credits (AVECs), you must be studying at least half-time.
Student union membership costs about 150-200 SEK per term.
Click on the “Forgotten PIN code” link when you log on. The system will then send you an email to your registered email address and via a link, you can choose a new PIN code. You can also send a copy of your ID/passport to our Customer Service Centre and we will help you with a new, temporary PIN code.
Send in a copy of the extract from the population register (Swedish: personbevis) from the Swedish Tax Agency. The form must not be more than three months old. Our Customer Service Centre will help you update your account from your temporary log-in to your personal ID number. Once you have received confirmation, you can start to use your personal ID number as your log-in.
You are only allowed to have one account with us. If you have more than one, you risk being blocked from our housing waiting-list. Contact our Customer Service Centre and we will help you so that you only have one account registered in your name.
No, that is not possible.
You can say no once, the second time you say no, you will lose your waiting-list credit days.
We send housing offers via My pages. There you will also see the last date and hour for accepting the offer/signing the agreement. We don’t send out emails. All information from us goes via My pages.
Yes, you must reactivate your place yourself. Log on to My pages and in the orange box, there is information about how to reactivate your waiting-list place. In the following days, you will be able to see that you have started collecting credit days again.
No, that is not possible. You can move in at the earliest on the date your agreement becomes valid. If that date is at a weekend, you move in on the following weekday. You can collect your keys at the earliest from 14.00 on the date you move in.
No, please remember that many people are allergic to furred animals.
Contact your bank and they will help you register for eInvoice (e-faktura). Please note that you must always go into your online bank and approve your payment.
A student room has 10 months’ rent, which means that the annual rent is divided into ten months. June and July are rent-free. You may of course still live in your home during these two months.
If you move in on 1 May, the earliest you can move out is the last day of August.
We don’t publish any student rooms with move in date in June and July, since they are rent free months. Then we can take the opportunity to make a thorough review of these rooms during these two months.
You can apply for a free term in January and February, no later than February 15 for the spring term, and during August and September, no later than September 15 for the fall term.

As the tenant, you must give two months notice. You can give notice to either the 15th or the last day of each month. You give notice to terminate your tenancy on My pages.
You may do so if you fulfil the necessary requirements. You can find more information on tenancy transfer rules under My agreement on My pages.
You may sublet your home if we give our approval. You must apply to sublet your home. A form and the rules can be found under Forms and brochures.
You start by registering a fault via Fault reporting/Pest control on My pages. Your house caretaker will then contact you to decide a date and time.
