Communal areas and student corridors
Tenants living in student rooms without cooking facilities share some communal areas, such as a kitchen, the hallway/corridor and sometimes even a WC and bathroom. Each tenant has their own shelf or equivalent in the kitchen larder, fridge and freezer. Please note that no household appliances are included. You buy and take care of these yourself.
You may not connect your own fridge, washing machine, dishwasher in the communal areas nor in your own room. This increases electricity consumption and we may have to raise the rent to cover the costs. It may also cause the electricity network to overload, since the wiring in the property is designed for a specific electricity consumption volume. If damage occurs due to incorrect connections, the tenant’s home insurance normally does not cover the cost of repairs.
It is the residents in the student corridor who are responsible for cleaning. Tenants must buy their own cleaning materials and utensils. You can find more information and cleaning tips under Forms and brochures.
You may not have external heating unit in your room.
See more information under Heating and Ventilation.
