{"id":31139,"date":"2022-11-17T14:40:39","date_gmt":"2022-11-17T14:40:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sssb.se\/housing-queue-rules"},"modified":"2026-04-07T14:10:31","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T11:10:31","slug":"housing-queue-rules","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.sssb.se\/en\/housing-queue-rules\/","title":{"rendered":"Housing queue rules"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The regulations that we at Stockholms studentbost\u00e4der comply with are SSCO\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssco.se\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.ssco.se\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instructions for the student housing queue and student housing tenancy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Housing queue rules:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You need to turn at least 17 years and a maximum of 50 years during the current year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We are not able to sign a tenancy agreement with anyone under the age of 18.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The queue is personal and cannot be transferred or taken over.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You cannot combine your queue days with someone else\u2019s.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may only have one registered account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To rent student housing with us, you may not own a condominium in the Stockholm area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To collect more than 90 queue days you need to be an active student and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssco.se\/student\/medlemskarer\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.ssco.se\/student\/medlemskarer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">member of a Student Union affiliated to the United Students of Stockholm (SSCO)<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your place in the queue can be parked for a total of 36 months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once we have signed your rental agreement, your queue days will be deleted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You will be blocked from booking housing if you:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have signed a tenancy agreement (from the signing date and for three months after your contract has started).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have an approved free term (until your tenancy review is approved).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have an outstanding debt to SSSB (until the debt is paid).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Had two or more payments later than 14 days after the due date to SSSB within a period of six months (for a period of six months from the date on which the last debt was settled).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have failed to look after your previous accommodation or broken the terms in the rental agreement or the instruction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have received notice of termination by SSSB following, for example, a tenancy review (during the notice period and for six months after moving out).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have deliberately provided inaccurate information or false certificates or in other ways manipulated our housing queue in order to improve your chances of being allocated student housing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have reached a tenancy period of 5.5 years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have turned 51 years old.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The regulations that we at Stockholms studentbost\u00e4der comply with are SSCO\u2019s&nbsp;Instructions for the student housing queue and student housing tenancy.
