If you need to take a break from your studies, you can apply for a free term. You can be granted a free term once during your total tenancy period with us. During your free term, you are exempt from both the study requirements and the Student Union membership requirement for one semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Apply no later than 15 February for the spring semester<\/strong> and 15 September for the autumn semester<\/strong>.
3. Complete the\u00a0application form for a free term<\/a>.
4. Attach a transcript of records from Ladok showing that you met the study requirements during the semester before the semester for which you are applying for a free term. If your study results are not registered in Ladok, you need to attach a certificate from your higher education institution showing that you met the study requirements. The certificate must be issued on the institution’s official letterhead and signed by an authorised person.
