Quick sorting tips
- Food waste should be placed in the brown paper bags.
- Household waste/Residual waste is what remains when everything else has been sorted.
- Plastic, paper, glass and metal packaging should be sorted in our recycling rooms. If there is none in your area, leave it at the nearest recycling station.
- Newspapers should be sorted separately from packaging.
- Electronics should be disposed of as electronic waste.
- Batteries, light bulbs and fluorescent tubes should be sorted separately in special containers.
- Textiles should go to reuse, not into residual waste.
- Bulky waste – smaller bulky waste can be left in the recycling rooms in some areas. Larger furniture and similar items should be taken to a recycling centre.
Find your waste station
In our housing areas there are recycling rooms with different containers, depending on where you live. Your municipality also provides recycling stations and recycling centres for other types of waste.
