You can apply to sublet your home if you meet the criteria. Here can will find all information regarding subletting your home.
As a tenant, you are responsible for finding a subtenant yourself. One tip is to advertise on Akademisk kvart – a free, non-profit platform for students that helps match sublets at reasonable rents.
If you sublet your home unfurnished, you may not take extra money in addition to the rent you pay us. If you sublet your home furnished, it’s okay to add a sum for your subtenant for use of your furniture but a maximum of 15%.
You can also read about subletting at Hyresgästföreningen. With them, you can also find rental agreements that you can sign with your subtenant.
Remember that you are responsible for the home even during the subletting period.

No, we send the housing offer to the applicant with the highest amount of credit days.
No, that’s not possible. If you have the highest amount of credit days on more than one booking, the system will randomly send you a housing offer on only one of them.
You can decline once and continue to collect credit days. The second time you decline, your queue is parked for six months.
We send the housing offer to your My pages. There you will also see the deadline for accepting the housing offer. It is your responsibility to check My pages to see if you have received an offer. We will also send out an sms to your registered mobile number.
We do not publish any student rooms with move in date in June or July, since they are rent free months.
1. The competition is organized by Stiftelsen Stockholms Studentbostäder and is in no way sponsored, promoted, administered by, or associated with the platform on which the competition is conducted.

7. The account you use to participate in the competition must be created in accordance with the respective platform’s rules, and it may be required that you have a public/open profile to participate.
8. Entries that may be considered offensive or inappropriate may be removed without warning.
9. All winners are selected by a jury led by the marketing department of Stiftelsen Stockholms Studentbostäder. The jury’s decision is final and cannot be appealed.
10. Winners will be announced on the platform where the competition is held. Winners may also be contacted via email or direct message through the competition platform.
If a prize is not claimed within 30 days of the winner being announced or contacted, we reserve the right to select a new winner.
11. To win a competition, you must be a tenant of Stiftelsen Stockholms Studentbostäder at the time of the competition.
12. By participating in a competition, you agree to the competition rules and terms of Stiftelsen Stockholms Studentbostäder.
13. By participating in our competitions, we may publish your name, username, and competition entry on our social media channels and website. Information on how we process personal data can be found in our privacy policy which you can read more about here. All competition rules and terms of Stiftelsen Stockholms Studentbostäder are governed by Swedish law.
You may have pets if you live in a 1-4 rooms apartment but not if you live in a corridor room or collective housing. Remember not to disturb your neighbors.

This means that you pay for your own electricity and you need to contact an electricity company yourself and sign an electricity subscription before you move in. You also need to order an electricity subscription for the electricity network. Here you can see which network owner you need to contact to subscribe.

You can pick up your keys to your home from 14:00 the day your rental agreement starts (1st each month). If it occurs during a weekend or public holiday, you can pick them up the following weekday. If you cannot pick up your keys on this day, you need to contact your House Caretaker to pick them up.
No, that is not possible. You can move in at the earliest on the date your rental agreement becomes valid. If that date is during a weekend or holiday, you move in on the following weekday.
Contact your bank and they will help you register for e-invoice. Please note that you must always log in to your online bank and approve your payment.
A student room has 10 months’ rent, which means that the annual rent is divided into ten months instead of 12 months. June and July are rent-free. You may of course still live in your home during these two months. If you move in on May 1, the earliest you can move out is the last day of August.

As a tenant you have two months notice. You can terminate your rental agreement to the last day of each month. You terminate your rental agreement on My pages.
No, you cannot transfer your rental agreement or home to someone else.
It depends on how fast your Student Union is in registering your membership. They work as fast as they can and it may take a few days from the time you make your payment. Stay updated on My pages.
Also check that you have entered the same e-mail address and Swedish personal identity number your Student Union as you have registered on My pages, as they must be identical. Your Student Union registeres you in SSCO’s membership register, which we check every night.
If your membership is not updated on My pages, please contact your Student Union.
Your data at Stockholms studentbostäder is automatically checked regularly in SSCO’s register and the Student Union. By our nightly checkups we receive information if you are a Student Union member or not.
No, you need to be enrolled at a university in Stockholm with a Student Union affiliated with SSCO. You can find information about which Student Unions they are here.

Send a copy of your Birth certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency, Skatteverket (not older than three months) or a valid Swedish ID document. Our Customer Service will help you update your birth date to your Swedish personal identity number.
Your queue will be parked automatically if your Student Union membership is not registered on My pages. As soon as your membership has been found, your queue will be activated and you will continue to collect credit days.
It can be parked for a maximum of 36 months. After that, your credit days are deleted and you lose your queue place.
It is free to be registered in our queue, but in order to collect credit days you need to be a member of a Student Union affiliated with SSCO. You can find all Student Unions here.
This means that you currently cannot collect more credit days, but you will keep the credit days you have collected so far. As soon as your Student Union membership is registered on My pages, your queue will be activated and you will continue to collect credit days.
