Step by step how I get the key to my student accommodation

-here is the entire path to your student accommodation in 8 easy steps.

1. Create an account with SSSB

Register with SSSB as soon as possible.
Then you will start accumulating queue days immediately.

2. Become a member of a student union

To be able to apply for housing via SSSB, you must be a member of a student union and meet the study requirements. The student union must be connected to SSCO.

3. Meet SSSB's queue rules before you can apply for apartments.

4. Actively search for housing

  • You can apply for up to 3 apartments at the same time.
  • Make sure you have enough waiting days to have a chance to apply for an apartment.

5. Get an offer

If you are offered housing: Respond on time and accept if you want it.

6. Sign a rental contract

Sign the contract.

7. Pay the first rent

Must be paid for and registered before you receive the keys.

8. Get the keys

Pick up at your landlord’s office.
Time: first day of contract 2:00 PM–4:30 PM
