Paying rent
Where does your rent go?
When you pay rent to us, the money does not go to any owners – we are a non-profit foundation with no dividend payouts. The money is reinvested in new student housing, maintenance of our properties, and safer and more sustainable living environments.

How to pay your rent
We issue rent invoices around the middle of each month. You can find your invoices on My Pages under My invoices.
As a tenant, you are responsible for paying your rent on time. Rent is paid in advance and must be paid no later than the last weekday of the month.
Rent and other invoices should be paid to:
Bankgiro: 5954-0146
Always include the OCR number shown on your rent invoice. This allows us to identify your payment.
It normally takes around three banking days for your payment to be registered in our system and shown as paid on My Pages.
Pay by e-invoice
You can apply for e-invoicing through your online bank. Your rent invoice will then be sent digitally to your online bank each month. You need to approve the payment yourself.
Pay several months’ rent at once
If you want to pay several months’ rent at once, you can use the OCR number on your current rent invoice. Any amount exceeding the amount due on your current invoice will be saved to your profile in our system and used when your next rent invoice is issued.
Pay from a foreign bank
If you are paying from a foreign bank, use the following details:
- Clearing number: 6133
- Account number: 261 911 171
- IBAN: SE13 6000 0000 0002 6191 1171
- BIC/SWIFT: HANDSESS
- Receiving bank: Handelsbanken, Norrtullsgatan 10, SE-113 27 Stockholm, Sweden
Check the OCR number and amount on your rent invoice on My Pages and make sure to make your payment well before the due date. Payments from foreign banks may take longer than three banking days.
Once your payment has been registered, a payment date will appear on the rent invoice on My Pages.
Unpaid invoices
Unpaid invoices are sent to Intrum Sverige AB for debt collection without a prior payment reminder. Failure to pay may result in the termination of your tenancy agreement.
If your payment has been referred to debt collection and you have questions about the payment, contact Intrum at intrum.se.
💡 Tip: As a student, you may be entitled to a housing allowance.
