Quick sorting tips
- Food waste should be placed in the brown paper bags.
- Residual waste is what remains after you have sorted out materials that can be recycled.
- Plastic, paper, glass and metal packaging should be sorted in the designated containers in the recycling room. If this type of recycling is not available where you live, take the packaging to a recycling station.
- Newspapers should be sorted separately from packaging.
- Electronics should be disposed of as electronic waste.
- Batteries, light bulbs and fluorescent tubes should be sorted separately in the designated containers.
- Textiles should be sorted according to the instructions where you live or taken to a collection point designated by your municipality.
- Bulky waste can be left in the recycling room in some of our housing areas. Larger furniture and other bulky items should be taken to a recycling centre.
