SSSB sells three properties
Stiftelsen Stockholms studentbostäder (SSSB) has completed the sale of three student housing properties in Nacka, Täby and Huddinge. The new owner, Urban Partners, took possession on 1 September.
The sale is a strategic decision within the framework of SSSB’s long-term business plan. The purpose is to strengthen the foundation’s ability to manage and develop its existing housing portfolio, as well as to create conditions for future investments and new student housing.
The sale includes the following properties:
– Sicklaön 344:1 (Edinsvägen 22A–B in Nacka)
– Tussilagon 1 (Gärdesvägen 2–10 in Täby)
– Medicinaren 10 (Röntgenvägen 1 in Huddinge)
For tenants living in the affected properties, the sale means that the properties will have a new owner (Urban Partners) and landlord (Juli Living). The tenancy agreements remain valid, and tenants may continue living in their homes.
Affected tenants will receive separate information about the change and the contact channels that apply going forward. For other tenants, the sale does not involve any change.
For those of you living in one of the properties being sold
The tenants affected by the change have received information via My Pages, but we would also like to highlight the most important points here:
- You may continue living in your current home.
- Your new landlord will contact you with information about how property management works and how to get in touch with them.
- Your current queue days with SSSB will not be affected by the sale.
You can view your current queue days by logging in to My Pages at sssb.se. During a transitional period, you book laundry times through the same Aptus portal as today, just as usual. Further down, you will find Questions and Answers with more information about, among other things, fault reports and laundry room bookings.
We would also like to take this opportunity to say thank you!
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your student years. We know that student housing is much more than just a home – it is a place for studies, friendship and memories.
If your housing needs change in the future, you are always warmly welcome back to us.
Questions & Answers
1. Will I be able to continue living in my home?
Yes. Your tenancy agreement remains valid on unchanged terms. Juli Living is your new landlord and takes SSSB’s place in the tenancy relationship.
2. Do I need to do anything now?
No. You do not need to do anything because of the change of ownership. Juli Living will contact you with information about how property management works and how to get in touch with them.
3. Will my rent change?
No, your current contractual terms and current rent are not affected by the change of ownership itself. Future rent changes will be handled in the same way as for other rental housing and will take place in accordance with applicable rules and negotiations. Questions about future rent levels and agreements will be handled by Juli Living.
4. Will I keep my queue days with SSSB?
The queue days used to obtain your current home have been used and cannot be restored. If you have reactivated your queue and accumulated new queue days, you will keep them. The sale does not affect the queue days you have earned after receiving your current contract. You will continue to accumulate queue days as long as you meet our membership and study requirements.
5. I would like to continue living with SSSB. How can we solve that?
You are warmly welcome to apply for a new home with SSSB. Your account will remain, and you will continue to accumulate queue days as long as you meet our membership and study requirements.
6. When will I no longer be able to submit fault reports via My Pages at sssb.se?
On 1 September, everything related to your home will transfer to Juli Living, except that you will continue to book laundry times via the Aptus portal until Juli Living informs you otherwise.
7. I have submitted a fault report on your website. What happens to it now?
