Indoor temperature
When it gets colder outside, your home may also feel cooler. During autumn and winter, an indoor temperature of 20–21 °C is normal.
Does it feel cold at home?
Start by measuring the temperature in your home before submitting a fault report. If the temperature is below 20 °C, you can submit a fault report on My Pages and we will help you.
Measure your indoor temperature
Measure the temperature at least one metre from an exterior wall and approximately 1.5 metres above the floor. A temperature of around 20 °C is normal. During changes in the weather, the temperature may temporarily vary by approximately one degree.
The heating is controlled automatically
Our properties have centrally controlled heating systems that are regulated based on the outdoor temperature, among other factors. This means that the heating may be switched off when your home does not need to be heated, both during summer and periodically at other times of the year.
Cold radiators therefore do not necessarily mean that your home is too cold. The temperature in the room is what matters.
Tips if you think it is too cold
- Make sure that air can circulate around the radiators. Avoid placing thick curtains or furniture directly in front of them, as this can affect how the thermostat works.
- Air out your home quickly by creating a cross-draught instead of leaving a window open for a long time. Leaving a window or balcony door ajar for an extended period will cool down both the room and its furnishings.
- Keep the vents open. Supply air vents, for example near windows, let in fresh air and help with air circulation and a good indoor climate.
